Billing and plan troubleshooting

Resolve checkout, customer portal, invoice, trial, dunning, and plan-limit issues.

1 min read/10 sections

Billing issues usually come from missing Stripe configuration, expired payment methods, or plan limits.

Check the subscription state

Open Billing settings to verify whether the workspace is active, trialing, past due, canceled, or incomplete.

Active and trialing workspaces should keep their paid entitlements. Past-due or incomplete subscriptions may keep limited access while payment recovery runs. Canceled workspaces return to the plan limits at the end of the billing period.

Update payment methods

Use the Stripe customer portal to update cards, download invoices, and manage cancellation.

If checkout fails, confirm the selected plan, browser blockers, billing country, and whether the Stripe session expired. Start a new checkout session from Billing settings rather than reusing an old link.

Review plan limits

Tracked pages, seats, scheduled reports, webhooks, AI insights, and white-label features are gated by plan.

When a limit is reached, archive unused tracked pages, remove pending invites, or upgrade the workspace. Plan changes should update the dashboard entitlements after the Stripe webhook is processed.
