Connect your first Notion workspace and understand the first reports that matter.
Connect a workspace
Start by authorizing Notion Analytics through the official Notion OAuth flow. Once connected, the platform will sync your workspace and surface available pages in the onboarding flow.
If you manage multiple workspaces, complete the first setup end-to-end before adding more. That makes it easier to validate your analytics baseline before branching out.
Choose a tracking scope
During onboarding you can track all pages or only the pages that matter most right now. Teams usually start with a constrained scope so they can learn which reports are most useful before expanding coverage.
Review the overview dashboard first
The overview page shows the cleanest first picture: page views, sessions, top pages, traffic sources, and alerts. Once that feels familiar, move into the more focused report pages for deeper analysis.
